Time Flies

Once again I've been caught negligent in my postings. It seems that keeping up with teaching, being a mommy, wife and pregnant just take up most of the energy I have left these days.

We've started some big projects in the house, one of which is tearing out our bug-mold infested closet and building a new one. The tearing out is done, but the new one is due next week when we both have off.
We've also enjoyed some more family time, including this delicious caribbean style dinner of chicken and pineapple kabobs...Katy was a big help that night and just loved helping me decide which was the next thing to go on the stick.

The pineapple was her favorite.

For those of you wondering, yes I'm still pregnant with 6 weeks till the due date.
Here are a few of the more recent belly pictures. Weekly I've had people comment on how Elena is growing.
Carol, I don't know if I'm ready to rival 8lb. 14oz. though. She moves constantly and seems to be more feisty than Katy was. We have our next ultrasound the second week of April. Maybe she'll cooperate this time and give us a good view so we can show you.

Gera has been more busy that usual these past few weeks. His boss is on a trip, so Gera has been in charge of the company for the past three weeks. On top of that, he's been busy studying for his exams which are this weekend and the next as well as trying to prepare some things for his missions trip to India in June. Pray for him as he has been spreading himself thin.

Katy has been growing and changing weekly. She is talking in broken sentences now and tries to carry on a conversation with you. She has developed this infatuation with Cinderella, although she cries with Cinderella when the step-sisters tear her dress up.

The other day while I was finishing some planning at that table, I turned around and was met with this wonderful sight.
I'm sure we all remember taking the cushions off the couch at some point in our childhood. Despite the extra work, which she willingly did her best in helping, the only thing I could do was smile and remember.

My maternity leave starts in a little over two weeks, so I should have more time to update you all with more frequency. Till next...
