Gera and I got a chance to get away for a night to celebrate our 5 years of marriage (has it really been 5 years!) and Valentine's Day as well. We went to a beautiful mountain hotel where we enjoyed a picturesque view of the central valley, a good nights sleep, time to relax and enjoy each other's company.
His mother came and took care of the girls for the two days. When we came home, they were very excited to see us and we spent some good quality time as a family.

On our way home, we bought some puffy heart stickers for Katy from a street vendor. She loved them and was passing them out for all of us to wear. When she saw one that was like Daddy's, she put it on "like Daddy".
Elena has been learning some new skills very quickly. One of which is crawling (video will come when we get a good one) which some of you have seen through Skype. Some of the others are dancing, playing musical instruments, "so big" (as shown above) and bye bye...Every day that passes, we realize more and more how blessed we are as a family. Please pray for us as we continue to look for a new place to live; that God would open the door he wants us to take.

LOVE the new blog look... very festive! SO glad you and Gera were able to have some much needed and deserved time to invest in one another. It's so important to have that. It's amazing how much these babies change in just a few short weeks. Elena is growing so fast!
