Needless to say, we are pretty impressed with her ability to throw the football. We still need to work on the concept of tackling.
On the last night of the festival, we also got some playing time in. However, I didn't get a picture of us playing. Katy did make a friend though.

His name is Marco and he is four years old. He was running around the church yard and Katy went up to him attempting to talk to him. However, the poor girl doesn't really know when to speak in English and Spanish, so Marco didn't quite understand what she was saying all the time. However, he was very patient with her and, with a little help, they had lots of fun together jumping off the stumps. Katy even shared her football with him. The funny thing is he didn't know what it was!
The seminar and festival ended with a full concert in the church of the town of Barva. The audience was excellent and very pleased with the performance of the band. The last two songs were traditional songs from Guanacaste in honor of the day it became part of Costa Rica (July 25). It was a wonderful surprise for everyone. The last director leaves for home tomorrow and then I get my husband back.
