Elena's First Week

Elena's first week here has been uneventful for the most part. That is if you consider all three of us (Gera, Katy, and I) also getting some bad virus that lasts for about five days uneventful.

Here are some pics taken throughout the week as we tried to go about our lives.

Sleeping Beauty never looked this cute:)

I was checking in on Katy, who was supposed to be asleep but was wide awake. I couldn't resist to put Elena down next to her and just watch the two of them. It is hard to believe that these two kids, so different from each other, are sisters!

This is one of my favorite outfits for Elena. Katy was helping me get her dressed and wanted to put on her own yellow socks. I didn't get a picture of them together, but I thought it was so cute that she wanted to be dressed the same as her sister.

Katy absolutely adores her little sister. She loves to read books to her. The book of choice this time was If You Take a Mouse to School, the current favorite.

Besides bestowing many kisses and hugs, Katy also often asks to hold Elena, for a few minutes that is. Then she says, "all done" and gladly passes her back to mommy.

Bathtime, still not one of her favorites, but I have a feeling that someday it will be one of her favorite times. Hopefully we'll have a tub big enough for the two of them to take a bath together.

Abuelo came over to meet the newest granddaughter. Very proud to finally meet her of course.
