We made it back safely. The beach was such a relaxing and fun trip. From breakfast with the monkeys, jumping in the waves, lunch with tucans and beautiful sunsets, we were blessed with the beautiful experience of God's creation.

The only negative being my bad burn due to an unexpected sunny day and not enough application of sun screen. However, we adapted and were able to really enjoy our time there. Grandmama got to spend some quality time with both Katy and Elena. I was able to get some relaxing done, read the infamous "Twilight" as well as spend some one-on-one time with each of my daughters. Katy enjoyed it so much that she didn't want to leave, but we said "bye-bye" to the beach and promised to come back again soon.

On our last day there, we spent a few hours swimming in the pool and were joined by the monkeys. They sure are fun loving creatures.

Elena has developed a love for conversation as well.
