Adventures in Walking

Over the summer vacation and period without access to a computer, Elena mastered the skill of walking. In this first video, you see how she just sort of waddles like a penguin (her animal identity) and has her arms stretched out forward. This beginning form forced her to walk in straight lines only.

Her favorite path of walking head first into the bean bag. Perfecting this video inspired the following one...

Over the past few weeks she has mastered the art and can even turn around now.

She loves getting her picture taken now, so here Gera sent her out to get her picture taken. After taking it, she comes back to look at the picture. So cute!! (except the slipping part, but I don't know how to edit yet).

She definitely seems like a much happier child now that she can walk all by herself. One thing she loves to do now is grab our hand and pull us to where she wants to go.
