Easter

Although Easter is not a huge celebration down here by any means (Jesus' death is remembered more than the resurrection), we still manage to keep the good old USA tradition of egg hunting.  

First they had an Easter egg hunt at school.  

 Then, being the resourceful mom that I am, I reused the plastic eggs she found to hide them in our own house Sunday morning. 

 The girls all dressed up in their Easter clothes ready to find the eggs.

They were all excited to find them, looking high and low.

Despite all the fun and emotion in finding the eggs, let us not forget what we really celebrating, Jesus' resurrection because without that we would all be lost.
