Busy Few Weeks

Things were blown a little off kilter three weeks ago with the passing away of Gerardo's grandmother, Matilde. God called her home after 95 years of life on earth. She left behind quite a legacy with 7 children, many grandchildren, great- grandchildren and even great-great-grandchildren! As much as we miss her here on earth, we know that she is no longer in pain and rejoicing with Jesus in heaven.

As with most funerals, it brings family together. The week following the funeral we spent at my mother-in-law's house with family members that had come in from out of town. It was fun to get to spend time with the extended family; even meet some for the first time. Katy really enjoyed all the activity and even showed off some of her newly aquired skills.

We also got a chance to show our spirit for our football team...Go Pack! Go!
