Semana Santa

So, this week I have off school!!!! YEAH!!!! Unfortunately, Gera is on a medical missions brigade to Talamana, an indigenous reservation along the boarder between Panama and Costa Rica. So, it's just me and Katy. So far, I've managed to catch up on all my pictures, clean the house and pay some bills.

Before he left, he gave me a dozen roses. I was very surprised.
It has been fun to hear from people thoughout the day wishing me a happy birthday. My friend, Julie, and her mom, Kathy, are taking me out to lunch, so I won't be lonely here in the house. In case you can't tell, I'm missing my hubby alot.

Katy is growing up so fast. She's so long! Her Tio Cesar took a mattress and folded it up into a tunnel. She loved it and would run and dive into it. Mommy even went in for a visit and Katy was thrilled.
Tio Cesar came over for a quick visit and posed for this picture. Was a little shy for the picture.

First of all I want to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you are having a good day even though your husband is gone! I had an interview on Friday for Shorewood Recreation and Community Wellness Department and it went really well. I will find out on Thursday about the position. We love our new car it is amazing. It is a lot better to haul things around in and a lot of room. Not that we have a lot of things to haul around. Scott's Grandma seems to be doing a lot better. She is in very high spirits which is good. Scott and I went to polka and were dressed alike and it wasn't even St. Patty's day. I will send you a copy of the cookbook on the e-mail. The Thin Mints were really good. We didn't get any girl scout cookies and I think mom and dad's are all gone. Chicago was a lot of fun and I want to definately go back. As of right now I think that is all updated for us. Have a great week and Birthday! Love you all lots, we cannot wait to come down there! Only a little more than a month!
