TWO!!!!

This week has just been one full of fun and surprises. It started out with Katy's 2nd birthday on Monday (the 23rd). Unfortunately we didn't take any pictures, but we ate her favorite meal (chicken, brocolli, beans, and rice). Then we went to the mall for some ice cream and to let her wind down at an indoor play area. She is quite good at going up the stairs and going down the slides all by herself.

What I did do, was relfect on some of the changes between when she was born and now.

First, she's grown quite a bit. Today was her dr. appointment and she weighs a wopping 21 1/2 lbs and measured 32 inches tall! Check out her growth...

She was playing with Daddy in Tamarindo for the first smile picture and in the "smile, cheese" picture, she decided to strap herself into a pyrex travel case. I thought she might be playing "avion" for when we go to Grandmama and Papa's house.

Needless to say, our baby girl has come a long way since that day she was born two years ago. Katy is a true blessing from God that Gera and I both marvel at every day.
