World Cup Final

So, for those of you that don't know, the World Cup Final was Sunday afternoon. We went over to my in-laws house for the game. The guys were cheering for Spain and the girls for Holand. Although the game wasn't that exciting due to some bad ref calls and many missed goals, the guys were quite happy when Spain finally scored with 3 minutes left in extra time.

Afterwards we had a blast just hanging out and relaxing. Tia Virgina was down visiting and got to hold Elena.

We made a run on the local pulperia for ice cream. There were some homemade mango ones, but the girls of course opted for the chocolate.

Daniel and Monica were their with her daughter, Daniela. Katy and Daniela had a blast playing, jumping on the matress, coloring, hiding under the table.

Katy's second cousin, Genesis was able to join them later on. Katy then spent the night at so that I could take Elena to the doctor for her 2 month appointment.

I'm so glad that Katy was not with me because Elena and I spent 2 hours there. However, I'm proud to say that she weights 11.2 pounds, measures 23 inches and is right on schedule with all her development. She's average on the charts, but compared to Katy she is so much bigger. Katy didn't weigh that much until she was 4 months old!

Elena also got her 2 month vaccination shots. Both legs were injected and both hurt her for the rest of the day. She's never cried like that before, even with the Tylenol, but today she is so happy and moving around. I'm so thankful that it was only one day of crying.
