UN Day

At an international school, it is important to recognize the different nationalities that are part of the school community. CDS takes advantage of UN Day to do just that. There were around 20 different nationalities represented in the preschool this year and it was so neat to see each one proud of their country. Katy "chose" (with the influence of mommy) to represent the USA and was chosen to lead the way carrying the flag.

She proudly held that flag high as the others paraded across the stage.

Then each grade level sang a song recognizing different cultures throughout the world.

All week she has been practicing her song and dancing the "Glainga".
